Addons / Mods ?

Hello, I was a real big fan of LORD back in the day, and so I was extremely pleased to find this project -- thank you so much for creating it :-)

As a newbie server admin, my question is about adding stuff onto my own LotGD server. I've searched all over for an answer, but I haven't been able to find one (which usually means the answer is probably right in front of my face).

Is there a place where I can get mods, or is it still at the point where if you want mods you more or less have to code your own?

The sourceforge pages has some modifications in there. Look around in the message boards.

Most mods are do-it-yourself things.

There are plans to have an official "add-on" repository, but those are far-off future plans. Way in the future. Far, far on the bottom of the "To Do" List. Not in a few days.

May I suggest a extra forum category in here where people can post there code for mods/add-ons and announce it at the sourceforge forums?

Maybe not ultimately what you want but a start :D

Actually mate, most people are posting mods in the patches section of the Sourceforge.net project. . .
