Hi, I just wanted to know how health is being managed after one retires to the fields/inn,
Say my max health is 100, yet I retire with 50, if someone attacks me while I'm offline do I have the initial max health of 100, or the 50 I retired with when I'm facing him?
And say I defeated him and had 30 health left, If someone else attacks me while I'm offline do I face him having a max health of 100 or the 50 I retired with, or perhaps even the 30 health remaining from last battle?
Thanks alot

P.S I'm asking this because last logon I found out i was killed by a farmboy while I was off (his max health was about 20-30 lower than mine, and I have 5 DKs - all spent on def/attack only),
And I'm almost sure I quit with low health. Now I just want to know if quitting to fields while being low matters, or that farmboy was very lucky :)

If someone attacks you then you have full HP.

The losses when someone attacks you don't affect you unless you are killed.

This does not mean that if ye log back in after someone has attacked you ye will be healed - ye'll have the same amount as ye logged out with even if ye've been killed in the Fields.

The farmboy was either very lucky, had superior weaponry or was a higher level than ye.

I was under the impression that if you are attacked, your HP will be at whatever level it was when you logged off.
I don't know for sure, but thats how I thought it was.

Nope, your hitpoints when you are in the field are maxed when you are attacked. Of course, if you log back in before the new game day, they will still be at whatever you logged out as, though.

I.e. for purposes of live action playing, your hitpoints are what they were when you logged out.

For purposes of offline actions (attacks on you by other players), your hitpoints are maxed.

And as already stated above, just because you went to max hitpoints during an attack that doesn't mean that you will suddenly find yourself at max hitpoints the next time you log in, unless it's a new game day.

You have to think of offline attacks and online role playing separately, in regards to hitpoints.

Also, please ask such questions in the newbie board for clarity reasons...

You get full hitpoints when you are attacked. Otherwise, you'd have to heal before the end of every game day, and it wouldnt be fair if a Farmboy got lucky against an injured God.

I think your question has been answered, so this Topic can be closed. If you need any further help, PM me.
