Login Problem with Mozilla Browsers

After the new year, the Mozilla based browsers have been logging in funny.

After a log-in, the screen goes blank.

You can hit your bookmark again (and then refresh the game screen) to get around it, but it never happened before.

This problem does not show up in IE.

I have had some of my users (on the large forum I work for) having this same problem with Mozilla. Interesting.

I have had trouble logging in the past few days (I think even before the new year) using IE. If I had mail, read it, and closed the mail window before clicking [C]ontinue on the New Day screen, when I clicked [C]ontinue it would report that my session had expired, but I was still in the "warriors online" list. I logged in again, saw the New Day screen again as if I had opened a new browser, clicked Continue, and everything was fine from there. But it's happened several times on lotgd.net and mightye.org.

I was having the "blank screen" problem with Netscape, but it was happening before the start of the new year. It started in December if I remember correctly. I use IE at work, and have had no problems with it thus far. Well, as far as LotGD is concerned anyway. :P

*this* sounds like it might be related to ME's changes to the session handling that he did recently.. I'll do my best to look into this.

Mozilla on my linux system (mozilla-1.4.0) works fine.

I've had this same problem only on MightyE's Beta (SOURCE) server too with Mozzilla and with Safari (maxOSX). No problems with the 0.97 site I'm running though... just .98.
