Wish thread: Can you make a wish that no one can corrupt?

Try this: Make a wish that you think no one can corrupt or ruin in any way. Then the next person says how they think the wish can be ruined.

example: I wish I had a million dollars.
way to ruin it: I give you a million dollars, but your going to die in five seconds. :wink:

see what you can do (P.S. no wishing for a wish that no one can ruin, that takes the fun out of it)

(I don't think that the millionaire one be fair... the disadvantage has got to flow from the wish... so getting a million dollars in cent form a mile up would be a corruption.)

Doesn't this fall a little short of the spirit of what you're asking for? I mean...rather than corrupting or creatively misinterpreting the wish, you're simply adding something totally unrelated. You could use this response for almost ANY wish. It seems like cheating to me.

Granted. Protection, however, does not convey immunity. Clothing, for instance provides protection from cold, but a t-shirt would be insufficient in Antarctica.

Alternately...since you have asked to be protected against all harm, all harm (that could potentially exist) shall now be applied to you...and you will be protected (see above) against it.

Granted...but as death might be considered an adverse personal affliction, it might start to become difficult to find things to do after the first few million years past the extinction of the rest of humankind.

Granted. Just remember to be very careful what you say. A lot of colloquiallisms could be very dangerous. "You really crack me up..." for instance.
