Lottery and Multiple Characters

Yeah, I've just created a secondary character, and I was wondering if the characters picking the same numbers has some sort of chracter interaction implication.
I assume multiple winners will split the pot, so it's almost like them sharing the gold. Not that I'll win or anything.

That shouldn't be a problem.

You only get one ticket a day, so if you want to bet on the same numbers with both your characters instead of trying to maximize your chances that's your decision.

Right, if you basically 'buy 2 tickets' for the same drawing (with 2 chars), the pot will split if both chars guessed the same number. You'd do better to buy 2 different numbers since the client base is small enough that it's unlikely the pot will usually split among multiple people anyhow.

That makes sense, but I was thinking that perhaps having both my characters win amounted to having one win and give the other character half the gold. And its not like I'm mainly in it to increase my chances at the pot; if one character wins, it does the other character no good. I suppose to do myself the most good my needier character should win, but there is no way to be sure of that, except to be sure the other character doesn't. I suppose I'm just thinking about it too much.
