Torture JCP

I know I'm just asking for trouble, but...

Why is torturing JCP a popular pastime?

Am I just a good sport about it? I'm not asking that anyone stop, especially as long as it's good natured fun. And in the past people have been very cooperative about not crossing the line of good taste, and very quick about stopping when they do cross that line.

I'm just curious - and this gives everyone more opportunity to torture me here. ;)

Why, because I've been selling my book "10 Easy Ways To Torment JCP For Fun And Profit"! 'Tis how I made all my gems, you can get it in the bookshop in the Non-Admin quarter of the village which MightyE put in a couple of months ago.

Well after the early years of tourture Terron, tourture JCP just came natural. I see many people enjoy it as well. And the tourture Dannon years were fun too, but she told on you. Who would of thought a pile driver would make some one cry?

Why do I torture JCP - an essay by the Vixen.

Well...other than Terron, who has years of experience on me, I nearly invented 'Torture JCP Day' and celebrate it at least once a week. That's what made his birthday such fun. His reaction? Priceless - though not exactly family friendly.

I believe JCP should be tortured routinely because its good for his health. We keep him laughing, and laughter is good for one. Thus, he will live longer and give mte many more opportunities to torment him for my pleasure.

I also torture JCP because when he is being well and thoroughly tortured, his mind cannot come up with nearly as much evil because he must put some thought to his own defense. It does not stop his evil (the Mi'raj is proof of that) but it does at least give it pause. An excellent reason to continue doing so if you ask me.

Thirdly - if the players see me torturing him, they believe it is a good idea, and engage in it. This keeps them from torturing me. I don't believe this needs further explanation. Look at Sneak after all - he's already been brain-washed by a few months on staff into believing that torturing the Vixen is bad and torturing the JCP is good.

Last but not least - I torture JCP because its great fun. He's one of the most laid-back, easy-going people I know. He takes it all so very well, and seeing what he comes up with in his own defense has left the rest of the staff either gape-mouthed staring, or laughing until their sides ached.

JCP is a great man, a wonderful friend who is always willing to listen and help, and a truly evil admin. I have truly loved working with him and forming a great team of staff, even at the worst of times, when we all struggled as a group, and hope to do so for a long time to come.

Here's to LotGD, our wonderful players, my fellow staff members, and the continued celebration of 'Torture JCP Day'.
