(Sir Quady was asking if a certain "helper" in the game would ever help farmies, because the helper had said no to Sir Quady.)

Yes, Sir Quady. It is not the number of dragon kills that decides whether you can do it. If you can't, then READ the SCREEN. He did not say "You are a farmie"... he said something else.

Oh, and as we've hinted elsewhere, the reason you have no gold is... well, maybe you have chosen the wrong race for what you are trying to do. Look at the Hall of Fame. There are virtually no Humans in the top 50... I wonder why that is?

Note- this topic was split from a topic about the forest fights received from donations. -Acemaster

I THINK I can tell what you guys are talking about :P
That wouldn't make too much of a difference would it? Though I guess it could, does that work in PvP defence?

I wonder indeed. For I never earned so much money as when a human Farmie. :D Of course, I haven't tried all of the races yet...

I know this is a silly question...but where *is* the Hall of Fame?

Degolburg, the Capital City

Actually, I made the top 50 as a human, and I never found playing as a human to be any particular disadvantage. As was mentioned in another thread, Elves are the most popular race on many servers not so much because of any advantage in game play as because people think it's cool to play as an Elf. If the coolest race in Lord of the Rings had been Trolls, then more people would be playing as Trolls.

I still maintain that above a certain number of DKs the race buffs become less and less important to advancing in the game.

Oh, and Nick, the Hall O' Fame is in Degolburg, at least on Central. :)

Ah, that's why I couldn't spot it anywhere....

I've been playing Felynes since they came out, since they're new, but otherwise after playing with each class and race when I started, I pretty much stick to playing Trolls usually, and not really because of the buffs, but more because Trolls are fun. I did decide to try the Felynes to see whether they did get much more gems than usual, which as anyone who looks at the Felyne feedback post can tell, doesn't appear to be massively the case. I may move back to being a Troll again after another DK or so, or I may stick with Felynes because they seem fun too. Cats are cool. :-)

Actualy i dont know about anyone else but i thought those trolls were awesome. I mean the cave troll the fellowship fought was hard enough but now Mordor has trolls that can face the light and not turn to stone, armed with giant spiked war hammers, and dressed with iron breastplates, helms, and guantlets...

anyways back to subject i used to use humans for a while when i first played because it was a nice perk to the strategy that i used so depending on your strategy and way of thinking: are you defensive and oprotunist? are you a hard line offensive zurger? are yuo an equal balance of the two? it all depents, i myself mind that im the first one devensive and an offensive oprotunitist, staying on the defense most of the time and tacking shots when i get them (Ive recently goten Battle for middle earth and found depending on which side i play my strategy is deferent for the side of Evil i just demolish everything in my path and use my giant army to charge and rip through enemy forces and on the side of good i mainly use my rangers to pick off the enemy and use flanking strategies, so like i said its all abuot the cercumstances and the way you think

Umm, whaaaat? I haven't talked to any helper, and a helper didn't say no to me. I was just curious as to if this mysterious helper (that i still dont know about) was avaliable to farmies or if you had to beat the dragon first.
So, um yeah.

Yes... well I was referring to a non playing character with an atrocious German accent. You'll know him when you find him.
