Is it just me or has the availability of mounts such as the hybrid ettile and the grypon been change? because i went from 30 to 42 dk and still counting and i have yet to see these 2 mounts available for purchase.
ps
this is for the central server
In addition to some mounts having minimum DK requirements, all mounts have a rarity value, so you won't see them every day.

I've been looking for the Hybrid Ettile for a while (I believe a solid month now) and have not seen it in that time. It took a while (I think just over two weeks) to see all of the clockwork mounts.

I suspect some of you might be looking in the wrong place.
Hint, hint.
"wrong place"?!? i know of only two places that offer mounts.... hopefully i have not been that blind as to completely miss a new spot when i visit every town, every day i play.
i too have been looking for the hybrid ettile (as it compliments my stats better than my gryphon) for more than a month. maybe the RNG is starting to play with the mount rarity calc?
::runs off to look some more, .... again, .... for the very first time::

Ok, I owe you all an apology. The Ettile was somehow deactivated.
It's back on now. Sorry guys!

I've been looking for the ettile for sooooo long! At least I know it wasn't because I wasn't diligent enough.

Thanks for making the Ettile available again.
I just found it two days ago.
It is very diffrent from the Gryphon but I think I am going to like it.
I am just curious if there are any other mounts that will ever be available that cost more then 150 gems (other then the clockwork mounts).
For example, does the Black Unicorn ever become available or is that creature reserved for donation drives?
Thanks

The Black Unicorn is only available as an incentive reserved for donation drives.

Hmm - I have never seen a clockwork mount - I may be too young yet though. I have yet to see an Ettile, but I FINALLY got my gryphon last DK.

I finally got my gryphon, too. I like it very, very much.
I play very balanced and want to avoid clockwork mounts. Will I be able to tell that they are clockwork before I buy them?

1. Yes
2. The Ettile may be a better choice if your dp spends were fairly balanced ;)

Ooh, now that's an interesting hint. I am quite balanced and thrilled with my gryphon, so the possibility of something thrilling me more is exciting.
Now to decide whether to keep going after jewelry or if I should switch my efforts to trying a new mount. Decisions!

Wow... that explains the reason the Ettile took so long to find... And yes, I'm a balanced player and when I went from Roc to Ettile I had my doubts that I'd like it better, but I LOVE it.

Someday I'll try Ettile, I'm quite balanced mayself... but the Gryphon is SO good... I don't know what can I expect with the Ettile... but sure it's great too!
