This is just a little thread to comment on the job done by the Admin/Mod types who keep this game going. I know that not all of them code the game, but maintaining order in the village squares, the gardens, and everywhere else can be quite a headache.
Before I get carried away, I play on Central. I see pretty much the same Admin/Mod's online at about the same time almost everyday. That's alot of personal time these people devote to this game. Considering how much they get paid (absolutely nothing), I think this says alot about their dedication to the game and keeping the players happy (most of us, anyway). And that doesn't include all the coding that goes on improving the game with new modules and other little things that we (the players) never see.
I have thanked the Admin/Mod's whenever I have something I need to petition them about, and I thought it would be nice to thank them publicly, as well.
I realize that there are players out there not happy with the Admin/Mod's because of something bad that has happened to their character. I've had bad things happen to my characters, but I don't blame them. Every occurance has been my own fault. Can't blame them for my screwup. :(
So, a great big "Thank You" to all the Admin/Mod's to keep the game flowing. Keep up the good work. You may be under-paid and under-appreciated by many of the players, but I think ya'll are doing a great job!! Keep it up!! :D

I agree. Very quick, to the point answers and always cordial in manners. I appreciate it very much, and I'm sure they do to. Otherwise they wouldn't spend so much time here! :P

I concur as well. The Mods and Admins give a lot of time to create this game that we all love. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Edit:
I also want to give a huge shout-out to the coders. Without you we wouldn't exist! Thanks!

I agree with everyone's posts - the mods & admins rock! I personally appreciate all the time you guys put into the game - explaining, coding to make things better, and picking up the pieces when we fall apart! :D
Thanks again guys!

You're very welcome. I certainly don't expect any thanks for coding, which is generally a behind the scenes job, and my code is often behind the scenes code, but players that still go out of their way to be thankful for code they have no idea about makes it all the more worthwhile.

That was the whole idea behind this thread. With all the work done by Admins and Mods (some seen, so very much more not), this thread was started so that players had a place to express their thanks. (Without doing it as a petition.) :lol:

And no matter who is coding, moderating, or ministering... it takes a lot of time. You guys help to make the server so fun and interesting, the least we can do is say thanks... And perhaps sport the latest style from the Haberdashery.

Probably the latter more so than the former. :lol:

Ode to Saucy
Saucy is our Fairy Queen,
she flys from view, she goes unseen;
I glance to my left fearing to lose myself;
my dreams of malice won't deny me now;
spirits are low yet my swagger is high;
sing me this last lullaby...
My Fairy Queen, oh my goddess...
I sing to you this very night,
singing out this song of glee;
because of you I have not fallen;
my soul was not captured for it is free;
my gift is myself, my dear Fairy Queen.

This goes back to the idea that all censorship is bad, so all mods are bad beucase they do censorship.
Well, being an old time movie fan, I can tell you that movies were more creative when you had to express tension and love scenes in movies, but you had a censorship board that you had to apease as well. How many of you have gone to a movie lately that was really creative, and not obvious? I haven't seen one in ages. Why is that? Beucase people don't have to be creative anymore.
I think mods are good. If you want your character to be a certain way, but the rules force you to change your tactics, it's a good thing. Being forced to think is too bad, but good for you. Thank you mods and admins for making us think.

The movie Boogieman I seen lately had all the creativity that you look for in a suspense/horror movie and none of the cussing/nudity. So I think there are some directors out there that do challenge themselves, so that all audiences can enjoy a movie without him/her being trendy.
I agree fully with you Sussie :P

I concur with how Waugh concurred on all the concurrences on the thank you.
You are all doing a fantastic job at sucking nearly an hour out of each and every one of the days of my life.
Time better spent, nowhere else.
Thank you.
