/me raises a glass on behalf of Calian (Shar is Calian's Central ALT-char and forum's persona). Calian, in truth, is too drunk to talk and is in detox ove on Orange...
Slainte!
Purple was exciting and intense, I am looking forward to further tourneys - although I'll be forgoing those at this level of intensity in the next few months.

Wow! Congratulations! I can't believe you caught Qwuxxocxouill!
I am guilty of dropping out a few weeks from the end. My job suddenly got hectic! (and twice as big). I've also missed out on the start of the other servers.
Bah!

You can still get in on the action in the Blue server, it opens the 18th.

Yeah, Crowley, it would be awesome to play you on Blue. And it can fit into your work (and my school) day: it is one game day per real day.

If I have it right, Purple took 3 hours a day and Blue should take 30-40 minutes =)

Heh, on Blue I burned through my turns in 8 minutes... of course, I did have on resurrection.

Oh, yes, you can do it faster, you're still a Farmie, after all. :)
And there are two ways to play... "mash the button", and "read the screen" :D

I get so bad at myself when I start rushing through my turns and then I miss something new. I have to be really careful not to do that on Blue, because I've already noticed some things that I haven't seen on Central.
Keep up the great work you most Sauciest of Wenches!

You are right... of course, I have read just about everything that there is to be read. If I have the time I do read.

God knows my every fight at level one basically goes, "u. Wait, no, that's level 2! Run, run, aw crap"

read.... ..... ..... so THAT's what I've been missing. I typically mash keys with my forehead and sometimes I even win fights!

Hmm the fatal "burn through flawless-fights at 1. level" syndrome...
No wonder I've in both tournaments I've joined opted for the +5 hp at my first DK, and specialize in Mystic arts. And Cedric gets some gems to boost my vitality. (Actually that's a bit misleading choice of description compared to the effects of drinks, perhaps intentionally?)
Anyway, it gives me that added chance to get out alive even after dancing 5 autoturns with a big nasty level 2 beasty who's decided to go slumming...

Huge applause for Special Agent DanaScully! xheer!
Second and Third were taken out by GemGraders greenhorn and CountDuckula. The toughest person in the comp was Jeweler Morticia and the most charming was Jeweler Taliesin. Congrats to everyone who participated =)
I will update the GemDust main page shortly - I am just slightly snowed under with work!

Thank you! Awesome end game with greenhorn and duckula. And as always, enjoyed the fellowship with all. Tourney players are the nicest!

You know what? I might be biased but I think you're right. Some people don't need a filter and a team of moderators to make them behave =)

Yes it was good, clean ol'fashioned fun in the bloody, cutthroath way mum used to make.. :)
Incidentally Saucy, mayhaps it's time to edit your signature...

Congrats to DanaScully!
Once again, thanks to Saucy for setting these up.
I look forward to further competitions, and warn everyone that I am in training to reclaim my early titles!

P.S. Saucy, will you be continuing the tourney server after you step down at Central? I and I'm sure the other tourney addicts hope so...

I have no plans to stop GemDust =)
As you've seen sometimes I don't have as much time as I'd like, but I've been working on Pink this week.

It was a great race at the end, and could have gone either way.
I look forward to pink and the next intense tourney very much.
