Tried it and got 39 on the second attempt, but my guess is that could be influenced by the fact that english is my second language.

I'm so obviously stupid. I don't get it at all. I can't even get one. Can somebody PM an old lady (soon to be grandma) and clue me in?

67! Woot!
I do think it is less distracting to do it without sound, if that helps any of you.

I agree. I did a lot better after I turned the sound down.

Okay, now that a kind soul has pointed out the obvious....it is a wickedly wickedly difficult game. And no, I'm not ever going to post my score.

I was just as clueless, DanaScully... I sat there saying, "But all the buttons are WHITE!???"
I managed to get 39 after some practice. I think it's easy, button the hard part is finding the right BUTTON. I sometimes forget where the Blue button is, or manage to click on the wrong button thanks to inaccurate mousing, not inaccurate thinking =/
well don't i feel smug right now.
i played and got a 96. i would have done more but i hit the wrong color just after level five started. :(
on the other hand ....
it took me about five games before i finally figured out how to do it!
thankfully there are only six colors that remain the same and not the many possible ones that rotate in a cycle.

Tee hee, it took me a long time to figure out how to play as well.
