Water everywhere

[kickme]

kickme walks out of the inn carrying a large pail of water. Someone behind im stumbles and knocks the pail out of his hands. Kickme, caught unaware, go sliding around the square before hitting something solid and passing out.

When he awakes, he discovers that other people have added water to the piddle, and are now tring to slide on it without falling over. So far everyone has a soaked back.

Kickme gets up and shows people how to fall over in style.

[Leah]

Leah exits the inn, slightly tipsy from a few hearty mugs of warm ale. She walks right into the puddle, slipping and falling flat on her back, the wind knocked out of her lungs. She giggles and sways a little as she gets up, muttering, "That wasss fun... *hic* Let's do ish againn!"

[Buttercup]

Water everywhere? That's hot.

[Leah]

"Toshally," slurred Leah, hiccuping happily and sliding around the puddle.

[JackZackson]

:grins:

Water... pirates, it all makes sense now

[Leah]

"Piratesh?" questioned Leah, furrowing her brow in muddled confusion.

[JackZackson]

:inclines his head towards Buttercup with a wry grin:

I think this young lady will be able to educate you on all matters piratical far better than I... she also seems to know alot about strange ninja puddles

[Leah]

"Mmm, I like piratesh *hic* a lot." Leah nods knowingly. "I alsho know quite a *hic* bit about ninjash and puddlesh."

[tinuviel]

Tinuviel floats over the puddles, sincerely wishing she wasn't dead, because everyone looks like they're having so much fun.

[Leah]

Leah looks at Tinuviel -or rather through her- and falls back into the puddle in alarm. "It'sh *hic*... it'sh a *hic* ghosht!" she exclaimed, hiccuping faster.

[tinuviel]

Tinuviel floats over and offers Leah a nice, large glass of water for her hiccups. "Inebriation + reduced friction on ground = bad idea. I'd help you up if I had a hand to do so, yet I'm here handing you an actual glass of water; with a hand. Ain't this world crazy?"

[Leah]

OOC: LOL, love your equation!

BIC: Leah accepts the glass of water with a look of wonder, her eyes crossing slightly as she watches the ghost in front of her. "Yesh, it sure ish," said she, downing the water. "Heyyy, my hiccups are gone, but I'm shtill drunk," she observes embarrassedly, regretting her third and fourth mugs of ale.

:helps Leah up then nod to Tinuviel:

Not often we get spirits in here... Uhhh at least not the undrinkable kind

[Leah]

Leah laughs for a prolonged time in her drunkenness, falling to the ground once more.

[JackZackson]

:helps Leah up again and props her against the bar:

Speaking of spirits I think you may have had your fill for this night

Tinuviel grins at Leah, and doffs her oversized beret to JackZackson, still grinning.

"You're going to get hit by a low-flying goose for such appaling puns one of these days, ya know."

Leah continues laughing drunkenly. "Do eitherrrr offff you have annnnyshing that'll un-droonk me?"

Tinuviel blinks as a low flying goose knocks itself out on JackZackson's skull.

"I can give you a barrel of water to dip your head in, Leah."

[JackZackson]

:nods (or perhaps sways due to goose impact): Or we could try ordering some coffee from the bar

[Leah]

"Bosh of thosh are good ideas..." Leah mumbles, dunking her head in a nearby barrel. She laughs with glee when she realizes that the barrel isn't water, but more ale.

[tinuviel]

Tinuviel looks around uneasily, and offers both Jack and Leah coffee.

"Uhm. You do know that's part of Cedrik's beer supply, don't you?"

[JackZackson]

:chuckles and sits Leah carfully on a barstool:

How about you concentrate on balancing and enjoy this coffee so thoughtfully provided by Tinuveil

It's not one of those special coffee drinks is it?

[Leah]

Leah hiccups and downs the coffee in a few gulps, sobering up a little. "I like coffee," she comments, still giggling. "Almosht as much ash I like ale! Thanksh for the coffee!"

[Buttercup]

Buttercup squirts water at Leah to help the cause.

[Leah]

The water hitting her in the face, Leah sobers up a little more and splutters, "What'd ya do that for?"

[tinuviel]

Tinuviel also offers Buttercup some coffee.

"Uh... Special coffee drinks? What's that?"

[JackZackson]

Tinuviel also offers Buttercup some coffee.

:grins: Uhhh never mind, just stick with regular coffee

[Leah]

"Mmm, special coffee," says Leah, grinning. "I like special coffee."

[Buttercup]

Buttercup drinks her coffee and answers Leah, "Because the water will get stagnant if I don't."

[Mess]

Avast! Did someone say stagnant water? I got some fine rum wih me 'ere. Arr, lets mix 'em up says I. Nothing like a grog t' beat those hiccups.

[Leah]

Leah sips her coffee while looking strangely at Mess, thinking the last thing she needs is grog. She sobers up a little and reaches the state of tipsy. "Whew," she says, rubbing her head, "I've no idea what posessed me to drink like that, but I swear I'll never do it again." Still swaying a little, she smiles and heads over to the other end of the bar, looking for a way to rid herself of the rest of her drunkenness. "Oy, you there!" she calls to a large, drunken thug. "Does your face hurt?" Observing the large man's look of confusion, she adds, "'Cause it's killin' me!"

Leah runs for her life as the thug chases her out of the bar, brandishing his sword angrily. Faced with the prospect of battle, Leah sobers up a little. "Aha!" she says as she fences with him joyfully, the only remenant of her drunkenness a splitting headache.

[tinuviel]

Tinuviel watches from the corner.

[Leah]

Leah returns triumphantly to where Tinuviel, Jack, Mess, and Buttercup are sitting, having bested the man she'd been fighting. "Well, that took care of the rest of my drunkenness. Maybe I'll have a mug of ale to celebrate!"

[JackZackson]

:shrugs:

OK I'm buying. Drinks all round!

[Buttercup]

Buttercup drinks to Jack's health!

[Leah]

Leah drinks to Buttercup drinking to Jack's health!

[Mess]

Mess drinks to the missed opportunity of chugging down a grog.
Oh yes! And to Jack's health too.

[Khaine]

Drinks to the fact that he is very thirsty!

[kickme]

Kickme drinks some water because water is good for you.

[Mess]

Mess drinks since there is nothing else to do.

Tinuviel starts to bribe random people with cookies.

Leah stares at the cookies, suddenly hungry. She accepts one from Tinuviel and accompanies it with another tankard of ale.

Tinuviel finishes handing out the cookies, and then stands one of Cedrik's barrels of ale to announce something.

"I have bribed you with cookies!! You will now... errr..."

I forgot.

[Mess]

: is bribed with a cookie and so, does the remembering on Tinu's behalf.
Hey Cedrik, you are supposed to dance for us. C'mon on, leave that bartending to Tiny :wink: and get on the stage. Entertain us."

Tinuviel gets her spork out, should her eyes need scraping out. She also apologises in advance to anyone who gets, er, "alcohol poisoning". :twisted:
