View Full Version : GemDust HALLOWEEN PINK server starts October 15

Looking at the numbers joining the tourneys lately, it seems like we need a change (they're falling almost to the point where I won't run a tourney). So, I have setup the PINK server with Esoterra active.

There are a bunch of new text colours for version 1.1.0 and I have written a new pale pink skin to show them off. I've installed a race many of you haven't seen before (Fiend) and the Esoterra town is always active.

30 day tourney, 10 turns per game day, 2 days per 24 hours, so this is a fast pace tourney, and remember that most of the Esoterra modules are quite generous.

Just wondering...where is everything? ie. Esoterra, boars head inn, etc. :)

Esoterra was due to open tomorrow (3rd) because it can only run 28 real days and I wanted it to last till the end of the tourney. But I figured out how to make it come on without that restriction so you should see it now if you have a ticket.

Um, why isn't the Inn there in Degolburg? I am going to try to figure that one out now!

OK, it was blocked because there are races whose home city is the capital (long code story). It's fixed now.

Ok me again....is there meant to be free travel but nowhere to travel to? And no tattoo parlour? Just wondering...kick me if I'm annoying you!

(oh and still no ticket but maybe I need to level up more first?!)

You're not annoying me =) This is a fair question.

The answer is yes and no. The only way to make Esoterra exist was to turn on "multiple cities" and when I do that, the free travel info comes up. Esoterra just happens to be one special city you can't get to by standard travel though. I'll edit the setting so it says 0, but it will still show up there, I can't change that easy. Thanks =)

Hmm - the post previous to Rich's was from 2006. Unless there was a bot post after that, in which case replying is BAD - what was the point of posting to this old thread in the first place? Sheesh. But - once the bandwagon gets rolling it's fun to hop on!

I wonder (totally on-topic here) whether we'll see more tournaments again. Darton City is still up, but I'm not sure if there are any accounts left. I might give that a try - I never really went very far with it.

Good point. I THINK Saucy was the one running them for awhile, but someone else might have taken up the task.

I didn't know Darton City was finished - I might have to pop over and check it out.

Finished? I'm not sure if it ever got past testing phase, but the server looks like it's still up.

There was a reply before mine yes, but someone deleted it without deleting mine for some reason. So no, I wasn't :) If it had been left (or BOTH had been deleted) then people would actually know what happened.

I repeatedly lose my cash - it's so easy to die. Er... get sent to the hospital.

EDIT: There HAS to be a Darton City thread. I'm gonna go find it.
