After encountering the Monk and his ol broth I decided to accept and he did some nasty things to me. One of which was supposed to "permanently descease hitpoints by 1" however it just appears that all the broth took was 1 hp temporarily.

I don't know if this is an old error in the code, new, or simply a fluke, I honestly haven't paid attention in the past..

It's an error in wording - this file (the druid) came from before hitpoints could be either permanent or temporary, and the file hasn't been updated to deal with the hitpoint caps.

Thanks for flagging it for us; we can add it to the bug list. =)

Glad to be of service.
I shall keep my eyes open for more of them pesky varmints!

There's no error there at all. With the Global Hitpoints Limit module active, the Druid contains a setting to determine whether or not any HP granted will be permanent or temporary, and the code makes the appropriate wording substitution based on that setting.

I happen to have it set that the Druid's HP gains (and losses) are permanent, not temporary.

When it happened it did say the decrease by one HP was permanent. My HP appeared to just have changed from 133/133 to say 132/133. I'm just basing this one from memory of course now and could be completely wrong by now. If it happens I'll petition immediately so the details / debug info will be present and timestamped.

Let's just go with I'm completely insane and just like to hear the sound of my own voice, which is quite lovely :D

Let's go with that option, then. ;-P

One of the outcomes does reduce your hitpoints but not your maximum hitpoints - that's intentional. Just keep an eye out...er...the proverbial eye out...in the event that you see it again.

/me is guilty of trusting Zegmorien instead of assuming possible insanity ;)

Zegmorien is touched that someone actually trusted him... even if he was possibly wrong.
:-D
