View Full Version : [BUG] Felyne Don't Get Gems

So, after about 60-100 forest fights, I haven't stumbled on one gem as a felyne yet. In fact, I haven't gotten one gem fighting in the forest since I got my felyne. Is this tied to the number of dragon kills? On a related note, I got the felyne after just one dragon kill. Not sure if that's intentional or not, since the message implied it might be a tad more than that.

Frequency of gem finds is a setting, and was quite possibly lower than what you're accustomed to. I've increased it a bit - let me know by in game petition if you notice an improvement.

The race wasn't supposed to be available for ye just yet, but that setting has been fixed as well...hopefully...

Well, I reported both as bugs, so that's totally Talisman's prerogative. =) But I feel it may be time for me to get that pheonix tattoo I always wanted... ;-p

Not that I'm aware of; if it was, it wouldn't/shouldn't affect the gem payout which is now set to a slightly more generous level than Classic.

I hate to belabour this issue, but still no gems. The odds of that are less than one and half a trillion (Am., Br.: Billion) over the course of 225 fights, which is more or less what I have.

Actually, to be really precise, the odds of getting zero are two in a trillion. The odds of getting less than one, on the small chance that I missed one, is in a billion. Are you absolutely sure that it's just the random number generator and not some other problem, because that's awfully low.
