this is a pretty silly question *central*

You see, on central I am, currently, known as Dyslexically inadequate Giantbob. it is a title I had imagined would be cool to have - so it's not that bad.

problem is: I 'gave' it to myself a day where I was exceptionally, how to say, under the influence of alcoholic drinks, aka I was pretty goddamn drunk. And nowadays, I would actually prefer the moving titles.

So - seeing as I've managed (god knows how) to give meself enough points to change the title AGAIN - would it be enough to just set the custom title to *nothing* instead of what's in there right now or would that negate my title so there'd be no title at all?

Oh, and I've already sent a petition, but that's beginning to be some time ago...

I'm not sure, but I know that it's possible to have no title at all - I've seen clanmates do it. I think petitioning to ask and posting here is a pretty good strategy, however.

What he said. @Helpers don't see petitions, so anyone on my or X-Kal's level can't do anything about it, but it would be my guess that the admins either have seen it or are working their way through the petitions and will eventually get to you with a reply or some kind of action taken.

Once you have 5000 points you can set your name as many time as you want for free, so you didn't have to get 5000 MORE points to change it again, for one thing.
Plusd yeah X-Kal is right, you can have nothing as your custom title, infact you can have nothing as your name too. I can probably tell what you're thinking now, it's never been tried though, Farmgirl..... once existed on Dragoncat though, shame she never got the points required sadly. The only (rather funny in my opinion) side effect is that when people go to send a private message but forget to put a name in to the 'sender' section, it gets sent to you, haha :D

Your 'normal' title will still change in your profile, 'course it's not the same as having it in your sidebar, but just a thought if you wanted to check on it. :-)
It also appears on the news pages and at the end of each dragon kill too. So you can still boast about getting a shiny new one :D

So, I got a reply to my petition, and it told me that I could get back to the switching titles by removing whatever title I had choosen in the jcp lodge.

however, what X-Kal thought'd happen, happened. I now have no title or anything.. Jeez louise..

This is why I never changed my title till they stopped changing every DK. Though an admin might be able to fix that for you.

I'm sure an admin would be happy to fix it. It sounds like a quick fix from their end. Hopefully, they'll tell us how to get the standard titles back, though.

If it makes ya feel any better Valancy there's young 'uns who started WAY after me as well as old 'un's ALTs who have > 500 DKs. 4 years and I'm still in the early 200s. :P

I've been on Classic since July 2005, and I've only got the 23 DKs on Valancy and maybe 13-15 on my alt.
