The MiniGryph is the most expensive mount available to me at this point, but I'm not sure its the best one for me since I cant easily cross-reference all the charactistics of all the mounts. Does anyone know of a good source for information that could help me understand my options?
Thanks |

Same here, although I am guessing there wouldn't be, as with most game features you would get alot of 'trial and error'
As a general rule the more expensive it is the better it is in the land of LotGD but as I say, I have no idea what that mount is like so don't take my word for it |

I've seen that one before, too. I've never tried it, but I'd wager that it's a nice enough mount. Personally, I've got a Gryphon, so I do know that there are better ones out there. The stalls don't always have the same thing from day to day, and I think the two stalls have different things from each other on the same day, so be sure to check both of them.

When is the Gryphon available on Classic and how much does it cost?

Mount availability is a function of both the number of DKs you have and what the RNG feels like populating the stables with that day. I don't remember what it costs, but I know it is a lot, and I vaguely remember you need more than a few DKs under your belt. There may be more information in these fourms - I seem to recall a thread about mounts. Do a search for mount or Gryphon and you might find it.

Gryphons cost ~200 gems, if my estimate is correct. I can sell my gryphon for 100 gems, and I believe the resale price is 50% the original cost.

There are other things to consider besides number of DKs etc. Many of the available mounts will become available before they are the best one for you and the MiniGryph is one of them. If it has only just appeared to you in the stables, don't buy it yet.
If memory serves, the buy price is 150 gems. I made this mount because at the time you really had to jump from a Peryton all the way to the Gryphon which meant keeping 130+ gems on hand and they were always in danger from Lonestrider (there was no jeweller at the time). You included no info on your character. If the MG is showing only recently, the Peryton would probably be my recommendation for now. However, it is Quote:

The MiniGryph just became available to me since my last kill. i only saw it for the first time today. i found it interesting that the description said that Gryphons are best for warriors with a lot of experience. this made me think
