Q - I try not to be ANYWHERE but cuddled up with me comforter and me pillow ASLEEP at 5 AM....or working on a term project that is due at 8 AM...

A fair bit belated, but here's what I did..



My kids found some patterns online somewhere that were fairly intricate. These were the best I could do given the size of the pumpkins and how steady I was able to keep the knives.

And afterwards, the loot!

That is a lot of candy! I still can't eat candy corn to this day because of how much I ate when I was a kid.

I had went to party up the street where they always decorate their house from top to bottom with anything you can imagine. Motion sensing devices- strobe lights, skeleton that talk to you when you walk by. I ended up going as an un-armed Robin Hood. I couldn't find a bow in time

Hrrrm - all that candy is making me crave something sugary hehehe.

Bummer about the costume, Fred! I hate those motion senseing halloween decorations that talk - they have them at the grocery and since I usually shop late at night after a long day at school, they always catch me half asleep and startle the heck out of me!

My neighbors in the apartment opposite mine (whom I saw once when I first moved in this summer) carved a small pumpkin and put it outside the door. It wasn't nearly as good as blarg's, and they never lit it. It actually turned into a sort of demonstration of the decay process in a desert climate. Since their door is opposite mine, I see it every morning when I go to school. I watched it slowly rot, slumping down into a nondescript brown blob, then dessicate into a sort of leathery mummified thing that sits next to the new phone book that has never been taken in. It's almost as if no one lives there, except every so often the outside light is on when I come home at night.
