Given that I don't know much about the geography of the realm in question...

If this place were far North or South, this might happen. Alaska surely gets sun at 2 AM, but during the winter, it's still dark at noon.

True - parts of Finland, Norway, and Canada, as well. I would imagine that any landmass (or body of water, for that matter, if one's in a boat) with a high enough latitude (something around 66 degrees N/S as I recall) will have drastically altered solar schedules, as compared to, say, the tropics. But would they have (F)orests where you can (L)ook for something to kill?

Funny that I can suspend disbelief while a "Generic Creature" lunges at me with "No Frills Weapon", but I'm questioning solar cycles and climatic conditions. I love this game!

Hehehe - my coworker drove through Alaska - went through a forest, too. Granted, the trees weren't very tall, but it didn't get very dark at 2 AM, either.

They absolutely do but since it's more like every other month they don't notice it. They assume we're the problem. As a wife and mother for 4 sons for over 20 years. I have definitely seen it plenty often.....

Not quite, Those times would generally give you twilight even on the solstices. At least in the areas I was in.... I was only brave enough to go north of Fairbanks once and that was to Barrow in mid - winter. but you couldn't see much in the dark and since it was 82 degrees below 0 I wasn't going out to check at noon.

I liked it the first time I logged into a GreenDragon server and continue to like it.
