That might be it - I don't know. My county work computer was so locked down that even Yahoo! was blocked. I think they periodically checked up on the staff to see where they were surfing and blocked more URLs, because one day I couldn't log on to LotGD on my break. Or I was trying to log on to the wrong server - I do dumb stuff sometimes. I never did figure it out, and then my internship was up.

In that case I have a great but simple tip, when at home copy and paste web addresses into a blank email and send it to yourself and just keep it, if you can acsess your emails from somewhere you can always then visit the correct server (or indeed any other site you would probably forget the URL for)

It is confusing. If my character is in the game and registered, I should be able to log in. Unless this is like Diablo or WOW where there are different realms. And I somehow got into one realm and cannot log onto anything but that one.

You're in the wrong server - every website has its own player database and they're administered by different webmasters.
