After playing on all main 3 servers, the Alpha server has helped me out the most. Since you don't have the ability to travel everything is in town and I didn't know drinking could get you extra turns. Especially the $50 mug, of course the extra # turns they produce are random.

But I do love all 3 servers equally, Central was just confusing at first for me.

I personally like "confusing". For a while there, I was starting to get bored with things because I thought I knew just about everything there was to know about the game, and the best strategies.
Now, I'm all giddy about the loads of new possibilities exploding out there on central. All of a sudden, I've had new things to try, and a whole new slew of possibilities for my strategizing.
I think that most people should be struck with a sense of awe when the log on for the first time. If I knew everything there was to know and what I had to do to succeed within the first couple of game days, why would I keep coming back? If I wanted simple, I always have pong to go play.
I probably should have done this earlier, but I'd like to welcome you to the world(s) of lotgd. You seem to have a good balance between trying things out, and asking good questions.

Well thank you, and so far I feel very welcome here

Now I am playing 4 servers, because after I finish with Alpha, Dragoncat, & Central.. I am left wanting... This new server doesn't have the experience bar, or the 5 or 10 fight option

I am sure once I become more knowledgable of the game, and with my character being far more experienced; I will be able to play one account for much longer.

Another option would be to have multiple characters on one server. That way you could keep using the official servers. You have to be careful with this though, as different servers have different rules about this. For example, on central, no interaction at all between alternate characters is allowed, no pvp, no chat, no bounties, no even thinking about the other character.
If you do create an alt, JCP has been kind enough to start a clan for alts, <ALT>, which I have never tried, but I'm sure that it's peachy.

Well, I am not in a clan and I have no idea to their benefit besides meeting friends. That is a topic I couldn't find much info on, but I would like to join one eventually.

The TKG members on Central have been very helpful and kind. So if I was to have myself belong to a clan, I would want to know the members first.

Btw Mungo, if you have MSN Messenger my addy is hdrive@hotmail.com, same goes for JCP and BD.

Clans are mostly sociable!
Chatting, asking questions, getting help and interaction in general.

Oh, and I'm glad everyones so helpful! This forum is a goodie.

A few tips I think worth mentioning, which I learned "the hard way" when I began my adventures. (only a farmie on central still, not as many gamedays pr real day as the other server I frequent.)

1: Explore... extra turns can turn up (mind the poor pun) everywhere.
2: Always play with Audreys kittens, even if you're unlucky and loose the game you still get a defensive buff, but ideally, wait untill you have no more turns left...
3: If you're low on money, high on XP and don't really want to advance a level just yet: challenge your master while you are low on hitpoints. (say you have 22 left and are on 7th level.) He will most probably knock you down, and revive you to max hp. You both save money on healing, and he won't hunt you down.. (as far as I can tell.)
4: Flirt with Violet, she's a nice gal!

Well, it depends, I've found that an angry kitten is better than a lost turn at least at low levels.

The question of the kitten scratch scars really depends on what's more important to you at that particular point in your DK quest - are FFs or unsightly scars more important? o=]
