Default Thrillseekers paradise

Hello,

I guess this might be fun.

I was wandering if we could get a special event in which you decide whether you want to enter a tunnel that you find in the forest, if you decide to enter, you are not allowed to get out before finishing two thrillseeking fights in a row. if you don't enter, you lose some gold trying to find your way to the forest (about 30% of what you're carying). I reckon this could be fun, since all creatures in the "thrill tunnel" are at least one level above you with no possibility of being of the same level. I believe the reward for going out of that one without being killed and with the possibility to use only one buff (special ability) for the two fights should be something like a bag of gems (5 to 7 gems in the bag depending of how much hp you lost), and a full restore of your hp.

Please do comment.

Thanks,

"only using one buff" is a bit tricky - easier to just strip buff use entirely

5 to 7 gems? Probably not as a guaranteed prize. Winnings are usually randomized so there may be a chance of a huge payday like that, but not a guarantee.

Hello JCP,

Yes, getting buffs out of the picture is a good thing too.

As for the prizes that a player could get out of this should of course be randomized but I reckon that they could be linked to the percentage amount of hp you have left after the two fights, basically meaning that if you did really good, you'd get something between 5 to 7 gems, if you did so so, you'd get between 3 and 5 gems, and if you did really poor, you'd get between 1 to 3 gems.

I also think that characters that have a huge amount of hp should not get to fight only 1 level above characters but 2 or 3 levels above characters. I know that if you're level 5 and have 60 hp, you could fight level 6 creatures but if you're level 5 and have 200hp you should most definitly fight creature that could get to hurt you some so basically you'd get to fight level 7 to 9 creatures. I think this could only be fair otherwise it's once again those characters that have been in the game for long that could succeed this deed the others always having to deal with Ramius and losing gold.

If you have a lot of hitpoints, sign up for the beta program. The creatures there should give more competition.

Hello JCP,

If by that you mean be part of the beta tester, well, I already are part of it and yes, the creatures I get to battle with in the forest tend to be quite harder than what I remember when I was not a beta tester.

Regards,

Herman

I'd like to point out that such an event is only good for higher DK players, it would be very detrimental for farmpeople and other low power players who are very likely to get slaughtered without the extra HP us godlings carry around... So back to the drawing board at best for this suggestion (my very own, harsh and personal opinion)

You the people of the Realm,

This is just an idea and it could if possible only be attained by those who have let's say some 10 DKs so that lesser fortunate players don't run into trouble too quickly.

Regards,

I wouldn't say no to some more challenging special events that kick
in at God or possibly Angel (spiritual) level.

What if the special event were a contest of some kind, which you
could optionally enter. If so, then you would have to defeat a number
of champions in single combat without the ability to heal in between
fights.

The prize would be an attack in a different speciality from the one
currently chosen by the player. That way it would add more variety
to the game.

I like the idea of a Tourney for those of Knight title and above, as well as possibly some kind of portal to a Battle in the Heavens for those on the spiritual level...
