You're not truly immune, but it helps a WHOLE lot. About the only people that can kill you in your house are thieves, as only they have the skill to break into your home. However, if they try to PvP you or steal from your house, they have everyone that is sleeping within the household to deal with (a very nice feature when you live with the heavyhitters).

At least, on the one server I'm on. There are still PvPs though...

any kind of extra pvp immunity without exhorbitant costs is a very bad idea (tm) because the game, being open ended, does not have anything prepared for those at both ends of the experience spectrum. If you advance faster than those beneath you, you suddenly need much more experience than they ever do, and not being able to pvp efficiently just stops it from being fun very quick... This and similar things have been discussed before, and the lack of very safe lodging is one of those "not gonna change" type of design decisions.

^.^ On this server, strong Thieves, such as having Godlike-strength, are NOT rare...

Maybe it is just that the Gods who are thieves are just more.... discreet.... in their slaughter...

I am not sure if this was covered or not but, the higher the LV you are the more expensive the inn & healer become, also you get more $$ per victory which adds up quite quickly
-After reaching LV 10 or higher the Inn is pretty much useless, you are paying to get killed

I assume "if it tires out" and "wouldn't suggest feeding it if".

With of course the exception that you have money to burn, at which point you have nothing to lose by feeding it.

I think that regardless of your particular strategy, you should usually let yourself be hunted down by your master. Staying on a given level until your experience forces you to level-up makes the game quite a bit more friendly.

For instance, if you choose to level-up early, you have a tougher time with PvP battles and with forest fights. You could probably do much better if you were to stay on the lowest level possible, unless of course you have maxed out your weapon and armor--or if you are concerned only with your DK speed.

I do not recommend trying to stay lower than you should, however, just to max-out your weapon. I recommend trying to stay two or three levels below your equipment. Remember that leveling-up also adds an attack and defense point.

If you try to stay on one low level forever, you won't have any better success than if you level-up slowly. What good do the maxed out weapons/armor do for you? You will be bigger than other characters on your level, but that is about it. You still won't get extra gold from the forest--not more than you would from being on a higher level, anyway. You won't be able to take on bigger characters in PvP either.

Experience weighs heavily in the PvP battles. A level 7 character who has level 15 weapon/armor should still not attack a level 9 character because they might have big enough weapons/armor to nullify your equipment advantage simply by being on a higher level--with much higher experience and more hitpoints to boot!

This advice only applies to lower-ranking characters.

Once you have a decent amount of DKs, try experimenting with your technique. The higher your DKs, the better you should fare in general.
