Flawless fights during travel.

Just a random thought... What if when you got a flawless fight during travel, it then stopped you being attacked for the rest of that trip? The creatures saw how easily you dispatched your opponent, and backed off to let you through or similar.

And maybe to expand on it, you get one free travel out of it...

I dunno... I travel purely to be attacked sometimes... so if the attacks stopped after a flawless I'd probably be a bit annoyed, and it would defeat the difficulties of travel a bit...
Extra travels are a pretty big prize... would be a bit unbalancing probably.

I agree with Vode. Sometimes, the only reason I go traveling is because I need a few XP to make a level.

I also travel to get a few extra XP. Also, extra travels or fights for flawless travel fights could lead to an endless string of travels and turns - I believe this was actually discussed in another thread on this forum.

Aye, there are times when the experience and gold gained during travel make all the difference in what I can achieve that game day. To limit it to one attack wouldn't make much sense.

I believe the creatures are slightly toned down in travel as well, to make the voyage slightly less risky for lower level players, so a 'Flawless' fight might really be more like a Slum fight and not worthy of any reward.

Kinda like those pro wrestlers strutting their stuff with some local inexperienced nameless challenger.

I as well use my Travel just for the EXP. Many times it has been the difference between a 4 day and a 5 day. So, I don't feel that a change such as what Nocturnus is suggesting, is sane and proper.
