I've personally had the belief that if you correct someone aggressively, they'll respond in kind. What I've seen in the central server (and what I most admire about it) is that people will gently correct someone in a way that's not condescending, is rather polite. It also makes it feel like you're trying to help them instead of punish them - that is the real charm to it.

I feel that LotGD Central's main charm is just that - everyone is nice to each other, and helps each other out whenever they can. I've discovered that it's absolutely impossible for me to be rude to anyone because it's just way too nice for that.

Although it's sad to see so much of the staff go all at once (and I hope I didn't irritate JCP and SaucyWench too much ), I feel that there is enough of that positive atmosphere around that this server can keep on going. If there's anything about LotGD that I want to stay, it's the friendliness.

Some of us will continue to play there. We may other servers to get started in, just in case, but we will remain faithful to Central.

By the way, as far as I can see Central has now only turned into what 99% of all servers always has been, I mean it's not like it's a free for all anarchy now is it?

We'll still have moderators/overseers able to kick in if things get way out of hand, the majority of players will still be decent, well behaved people, and the odd bad apple will just go away if they're overlooked, ignored or ridiculed (depending on behaviour)

I already play on two other servers but enjoy Central because it feels special. I'll not give up on it at all.

Plus I have not played on any other server with the sheer numbers and enjoyable interaction. I understand there's a German server put there that's bigger, but I couldn't figure out how to get around the language barrier. And there's another @Mod of Central who had the same problem.

Why contradictory? There are countless people on here who either run or play on other servers in addition to Central. Sel and Waugh have started off some fun on the side. Whilst I don't speak for either of them, I haven't heard anything from either of them indicating that they're planning on leaving Central or have created this to replace it. It's just another place to play with mates when we're done for the day on Central.

there be naught wrong with playing multiple sites. t'was just that the gist of his entire post read to me that he would only play central as he had no interest in going anywhere else due to the type of server it is, tis what i found contradictory to the other thread.
