The gauntlet hint needed (spoiler of things that don't work)

Hey I've tried everything I can think off to get into the gauntlet. The word "mean" is emphasised when I get turned out, so I've tried every mean thing I could think of other than stealing Audrey's kittens and having the habardasher turn their pelts into a hat to mail-gift to Audrey, but I don't think that one is possible.

Spa (making your male character go to a spa is mean in my opinion, unless it's for a massage that involves you lying on your back, which it wasn't)

Dining without leaving a tip

PK sprees

Breaking into an inn (caught in the process)

Not giving coin to the beggar

I got through once on my last DK but I'll be darned if I remember what I did beforehand.

Can someone hint vaguely in a general direction like a town required visiting which is a pre-requisite, or a more general prod in the right direction if giving away a town's name with the pre-requisite activity is too obvious of a hint.

ps: my charm must be down to 0 by now, is me focusing on being mean a wrong direction to take in order to get in altogether?
