I'm new and I was rummaging around the old posts and found something on turn turnovers. There was a discussion about how to make it so if someone has unused turns, they will rollover to the next day. The discussion was from 2005 so I was wondering if anything was ever done?

Not on any server I have been on! Though I guess it might be on one of those heavily modded obscure servers.
It seems to me that it would make the game really unbalanced, plus the fact that if you end your day with less then a specified amount of turns then you gain bank interest, so you'd either have one or the other (if it did work). |

You really should be asking this in DragonPrime.net =)

There are a couple modules available through Dragonprime which allow this. I don't know their names off the top of my head, but use Search, or comb through the downloads listings, and you should find something.

Early on, we'd talked about allowing a certain number of turns to roll over
if you didn't use them (and didn't lose them such as to death), but it never happened. I think the biggest concern was that it'd facilitate shortening your days to a dragon kill if you didn't log on for a few days right after a dragon kill. Basically there's not a few game mechanics which would be nice, but aren't feasible because they're abusable in one way or another. |
