seriously, though. my home desktop image is usually something from APOD (right now it's this), and my work desktop is from dinosaur comics.

Don't blame me! This is the computer I use at work. I used to have Windows XP here, but my boss decided to "upgrade" and give me a new computer. It was a nice gesture, but I hate Vista! So far I have not had any problems from running Internet Explorer on it...[knock on wood].

My work laptop. My personal computers have even less icons on the desktop, and have an oak tree canopy as background. By the way, that gecko is a pic my friend in FL took of one that was crawling on his screen.

Vista and IE /SHUDDER

JRM I bow to your 1337-ness.

What are your desktops Fred and X? I like the watfor77 hehehe.

My desktop is from Windows 3.11. Although, I need to find a way to tastefully render some images from wikimedia down to 256 colors so that it'll render as a background properly... and somewhat tastefully. I'm afraid it'll come out grainy, though.

Ramius... there is a cure.
