Who else is trying to get the One-Day DK?

I was wondering if anyone else is trying to get the One-Day DK. I've done it thirteen times so far.
How close have you gotten?
Would you like any advice?

I've tried it and failed. But you already know that. The closest I ever came to one day kill was going through all the levels of training on second day. That is, if I remember it correctly. Anyways, I am not going to try it again for a long time. That kind of speed kill takes a lot of patience and I don't have any left in me. Five cheers for two day kill!

I am trying, but I know I have a long way to go yet. I plan to do it, as usual, with no PvP. I may need to turn on PvP so I can burn candles again to do it though.

Currently my best time is 2 days, even without Heidi, and I've gone from 5 to 15 in one day. I've got a ways to go to be a contender though

It actually feels like I'm either getting more experience, or I need less experience to level when I have PvP immunity set. Either way, level 1 seems MUCH easier. Either that, or maybe it's just that my game days don't go on so long anymore... but it really does feel like gameplay is much faster.

Alas, it is not the same for me. When I was in the 100s, level 1 was cake. Now in the 200s, not so much. I die at least once, most of the time. But then I still thrillseek.

I couldn't even imagine doing that. I think a 4 day DK was my record. But that is to be expected when I have only used 1 point for FFs.

I tried to cut back on FF points, but found my days too short and too nonproductive. I'm back to my old 30-40 turns per day - which is probably why I can't get there, yet. I think the 1-day (or at least 2-day) DK requires more FF points.

It's very simple:

Just look at how many FF's it takes you to get your fastest DK.
Subtract 100 for hitting the Flawless Cap.
Subtract (90) or however many fights Heidi gives for your 3 PvP's.
Add FF Dragon Points for the rest.

Make it through ALL of those fights and still have the strength to slay the Dragon. (that's the hard part)

There may be other ways to get there, using PvP and Dag Quests to your advantage.

Does this record only count on classic? Just wondering.
Because there is an item on Dragoncat that can allow a 1-day DK, and even without it, some people have managed due to Drunken Master powers.
I haven't, but then I never really made it one of my goals (as for a long time it WAS impossible).
