Halp!
Can't work out where else to put this - how do you change avatars? I had one, and the only option was to delete it. Now I have none. How can I get one back?

See the menu up top of this forum? Click 'User CP'.
Then click 'Edit Avatar'. You must select 'Custom Avatar', then 'Browse', then find it in you PC. That's it really

That looks to me like not being able to select a new one. Am I missing something obvious?

Yeah, it says there if you select it then it will delete your current avatar, so do that, then select a new one.
It may look like you don't have one, but if the image was just too big, then it would still count as you having one, so you need to delete first, then either find a different avatar, or resize the one you already have.
